January 18th, 2006
SELLERSBURG, IN – Manitowoc Beverage Equipment (MBE), a leading manufacturer of ice/beverage dispensers for the foodservice industry, offers the industry’s first builtin ice crusher providing two types of ice from a single ice maker/ice dispenser combination.
The new Servend icepic™ feature offers customers a true choice. Integrated within the Servend MDH302 and MDH402 ice/beverage dispensers, icepic™ delivers the option of cubed or crushed ice. When “crushed ice” is selected, cubed ice is crushed at the point of dispense.

In addition to the icepic dispenser, MBE manufactures a complete line of beverage dispensing equipment that includes ice/beverage dispensers, drop-in beverage dispensers, and electric countertop units manufactured under the Servend, Multiplex, and Flomatic brand names.
